When feeling tired of human relationships

Totally felt that way. Still do sometimes. I have a personal relationship with Jesus that started about a year ago. Helped in a major way for myself being able to talk to someone who wouldn’t respond with judgement or talk over me, but just listen.

If that’s not your cup of tea, the biggest suggestion I can make is to go on a social media fast. Don’t announce it, just do it. Eventually you will miss the constant communication and you will find a deeper meaning of friendship when you finally feel the need to speak to someone over the phone instead of the web. Plus staying out of the loop of all the constant news and bickering of political parties gives you something to talk about when someone asks your opinion in person.

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother

Proverbs

Do some “Me Time” things alone. This can be as simple as going for a walk or trying a new activity, going out to dine alone or to the movies to see that flick that no one else wants to see, but you’ve been dying to see. It’s good to be alone sometimes. It helps you to become more independent and perform better in stressful situations.

However, humanity was not created/hard-wired to be lonely. If you feel alone, it’s time to go back to your friends and family or meet some new ones. It’s easy to isolate yourself from others, especially when you don’t feel like living, but I reached out anyway and told my friends and family about my desire not to live. I enjoyed being alone, but I didn’t enjoy being lonely, like no one understood my pain.
